Wednesday Nights

So this summer, Wednesday nights are sailing nights. I captured some photos from last night's excursion. And it just happens to also be fireworks night on Navy Pier. I like breaking up the work week with colorful explosions.

The "professionals" and big sailboats race recreationally on Wednesday nights around the water treatment plants way out on the lake. We like to relax, and at times go nowhere on the water, because our sailing skills are not up to par.... well at least Eric and myself. Think Chris Farley at the end of the movie, Tommy Boy.
