Generous

Eric and I opened a card in the mail the other day, and it was from our vet. Inside it read:

"A donation has been made in memory of Keela to PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) Chicago. In honor of Keela, who was such a good girl and who was lucky to have been so loved. You are in our thoughts."

I can't get over this nice gesture. Even though our vet and the medical center probably does this for all of the animals that have been under their care, it just reminds me how sweet they were to Keela, how the support staff LOVED her, and how they really understood that she was like our child. It makes me feel better that they cared, and they continue to care for all animals that walk through their doors.
