Comings and Goings

Nothing too terribly exciting or new at the Kenmore Ave Household lately....

Eric finished his September in San Diego for a week (it was the third week long trip of the month) so I was glad to have him home this past weekend. But Keela has been sick. She's having bladder problems again and was feeling quite bad, but the vet has a plan of attack to fix things. We're trying to stay hopeful she will be 100% soon.

We thought our neighborhood would be crazy this past week with the Cubs, but they were swept in the NL Division series. They played here on Wednesday and Thursday, and the city was buzzing, but that quickly ended Saturday night. I loved going outside at night with Keela to watch the "Direct TV" blimp above our condo. That thing was pretty cool.

Friday night we want to the comedy house, Second City, birthplace of several famous comedians. One of our friends is a writer, so he and his two co-writers teamed up with some actors to put on a four week show. It was hilarious - all short skits that incorporate different social issues. Kudos Matt! (Matt is below on left - Brian is our other friend that works with Eric, and happens to live right down the way Kenmore Ave - small world.)
