World Cup Soccer Qualifying Match

On Saturday night we went with our friends to Soldier Field for the U.S. vs Honduras soccer game. This was the first big time soccer game I've been to, and it lived up to the hype. The Honduran crowd was so loud and crazy, that it felt like 80% of the stadium was cheering for Honduras. It didn't even compare to an NFL game, it was so much more intense. The U.S. team scored a goal to take the lead with about 20 minutes left, and even Eric said to be careful on the walk as I got up to use the restroom. But the U.S. fans were alive and boisterous at the end. Absolute craziness!

ps. as you see in the pictures, summer has not arrived yet in Chicago.
