Marcellus, New York

Here are some pics of our time spent in Eric's hometown. One day we took some of the nieces and nephews on a hike in a state park to the beaver ponds. This is one of John Doust's favorite places to walk. It was a gorgeous day out and a very pretty area.

Christmas Eve with Natalie, Cheyne, Little Eric, Makayla, and Uncle Eric. They were tracking Santa's progress around the globe. Seriously. Who knew. And you could even type in a child's name to see if they've been naughty or nice. One child cried from the outcome... yikes. Mental note for next year - lie :)

Eric though the trees on our hike.

Eric took me to watch Syracuse beat up on DePaul and we happened to run into the 2003 Championship trophy. I kept my cool. I had just seen Kansas's 2008 Championship trophy four days prior in Lawrence. NBD.

The Doust family home in snowy Marcellus. They definitely get some snow.

We had a night out with Eric's high school buddies at THE legendary Irish bar in Syracuse. And here is the leprechauns entrance right next to the front door. So cute.
