Quickest Trip Ever

Eric and I flew to Kansas City last Saturday morning for the quickest trip ever. It was my friend Stephanie Meyer's wedding weekend and I couldn't miss it.

We arrived early Saturday, jetted to the Plaza because Eric forgot a tie, and forgot how fun it is (for me only) to see all the KU Jayhawk fans around! Kansas kicked some K-State Wildcat butt in football that day. We were sitting in the church during the end of the game, but fully aware of what was happening because of course all my old coworkers from the sportsradio station were updating their phones, nudging each other, happy for a win.

Stephanie looked beautiful, and very happy w/ her new hubby John. The wedding was very fun and great to see all my old cohorts.

During the reception, we anxiously checked the mobile phone for the Cubs scores, since we changed our flight home to 8am on Sunday in order for Eric to go to the game. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.....
