The Taste of Chicago

The famous Taste of Chicago started on June 29th and continued on until today. I went with my coworker friends on Friday during lunch since it's right near our office. The gig is to buy a roll of tickets, and then purchase food and drink with the tickets. Every food booth determines how many tickets to charge, more tickets for a full portion, less tickets for a "taste", and many more tickets for beer and cocktails.

Between the three of us (Katie - left and Amy - right), we sampled beer battered artichoke hearts, Italian fries, mashed potatoes, perogies, mozzarella bread, buffalo burger, and chocolate dipped strawberries. Yum Yum! But it was so packed with people (verrrrrrrrry interesting people to say the least) and so so hot that it reminded me of being at Worlds of Fun.......

This is the architecturally amazing bridge in Millenium Park on the walk back to the office. Cassie's favorite "BEAN" is back behind my head and to the left.
