Beach Time

Holyhot of a weekend - Saturday we trekked to the beach directly east of our place for some fun in the sun - at least what we thought would be fun.

We noticed no one was getting in the water. We found out that a lake ban was in effect. Due to a big thunderstorm, increased water temperature, and the lovely sea gull poo - the bacteria count was too high for humans. No e-coli for me. So the lifeguards were busy running around keeping people out of the water. Needless to say - it was so hot that we didn't stick around for long time.

There was a huge Ultimate Frisbee tournament going on the beach, so that was entertaining to watch. Those people were hard core - I thought my skills from the championship team in 8th grade were okay but these people would cream my ass :)

I guess boaters and kayakers didn't care about e-coli.
