Good Times

Our good buddy Wardo came up from St. Louis last weekend to stay at the Kenmore Bed and Breakfast (aka our place). We had a hoot of course. Lots of bar hopping, eating good food, and walking around the Wrigleyville shenanigans when the Cubbies play....... oh yeah..... he saw some real baseball fans that don't like those yucky Cardinals - heehee!! It was great to see him, and Keela thought so too!

Ward had to take off early on Sunday, so after some school-work time for Eric, we mosied over to the Irish American Heritage Festival. One of Eric's favorite bands, The Gaelic Storm, were playing to a large crowd that night. It was really cool to see the large contingent of Irish folk in Chicago. Part of the festival consisted of booths with Irish goodies, so Mr. Doust sure did purchase some items as gifts for his family. There was a ton of gorgeous silver jewelry with Gaelic symbols, but Eric already bought me the best Claddagh ring ever :)

Snuggling after a long day.......
