This was my first Chicago football weekend of the season, since we were in KC the previous weekend. We met some friends out (Gretchen, Karen, and Amy pictured above) for a fun Saturday day. One thing Eric and I immediately realized is this city is crazy on football Saturdays. Lots of people do not go out on Friday nights, to save up energy for Saturdays. And most bars are affiliated with a college or three, so it gets out of control.
As you can see, this place served "fishbowl drinks" so our friends had some engineering fun with the straws.... dorks. My friend Amy that used to live in Chicago, moved to Columbus, OH over the summer. She came back to town for some shananigans and OSU football. She was not happy with the spanking from USC. Oh well, I know the pain from Friday night's KU game. It was fun for me though seeing them on television!
Eric was on the "boys" side of the table with the camera........
