Lately

Here's what we've been up to....

• Eric came back from Mexico without his camera. It was stolen. Yep. Not fun. But he has plenty of coworkers that were snapping away, and they are compiling all pics to share on their network, so we'll have some to share at some point. He had a great time and here is a gift he brought back for us! It is a reserve bottle of tequila! The Jose Cuervo company creates only 10,000 bottles per year, and each year ask a Mexican artist to paint the bottle boxes. This is Fernanda Brunet. I love it.
  
  

• I went to Kansas City on the 15th and had a great time last weekend, but it went by way too quick. More on that trip later.



• Eric has been travelling a ton for work. Keela does not like seeing a suitcase, so she's been acting out, which consists of tinkling in the house. We're grouchy with her new behavior. Hopefully she'll be better this coming week when we're both here for the entire week.



• It's winter on March 22 in Chicago. And it hasn't melted yet. Eric shoveling on Saturday morning.
  
  

• Today we had a big Easter dinner fest for of 7 of our friends. We had the whole gammit - ham, brisket, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, corn, etc. We have enough food still that we're having another party on Tuesday, basically a "eat our leftovers" party, plus it will double as Syracuse watch party for the NIT tourney game.
  
  
• We love the Jayhawks! We were thinking about going to Detroit if the games were on Thursday/Saturday, but Friday/Sunday isn't going to work for us. Plus Eric is telling me that he would go to any other city besides Detroit to watch the Hawks with me, he's not in the mood for carjacking or any other violence. I said we'd be fine, but he thinks with the amount of cash we'll spend, we'd have a better seat in front of our tv and he'll charge me $10 dollars for a beer and $5 bucks for a slice of pizza :)
